Welcome to York Health Services!

York Health Services is owned and operated by Carl York RMT.  Carl is a Massage Therapist with advanced graduate training in Myofascial Release, and is currently pursuing a graduate Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice.  Carl's goal is to offer one on one treatment in a private setting using his extensive manual therapy background.  His interest is in treating the person (not just the injury).  Each treatment is individually tailored to the clients needs on that particular day, recognizing that each patient is unique and has a unique history which contributes to their current health status.  Carl bases his treatment on the philosophy that your body can heal itself, and will do so given adequate water, nutrition, rest, and an environment in which all body systems are able to communicate and work efficiently together.  Carl sees his job as assisting you towards meeting these basic requirements.  Please take the time to read through the pages of this website to give you a better understanding of what to expect from your treatment with Carl.  Also please feel free to use the "Contact Us" page to forward any questions or comments directly to Carl.  Thank you.
