Osteopathy...... is a therapeutic discipline which relies on precise
palpation (feeling with the hands) to identify and address any impediment
that is preventing the body from functioning optimally. Osteopaths use a
detailed medical history, and a thorough examination of each patient to find
the cause of dysfunction rather than only addressing the patient
symptomatically. In this way it is said that Osteopaths do not treat disease
or dysfunction but rather the person who is suffering with the disease or
dysfunction.

Myofascial Release....is a whole-body, hands-on approach for the
evaluation and treatment of the human structure. Its focus is the fascial
system.
The fascia, or connective tissue, is one continuous sheet of tissue that runs
uninterrupted from head to foot, covering and interpenetrating every
muscle, bone, nerve, blood vessel, and cell of your body. Physical trauma
(accidents, falls, injuries.. etc.), repetitive strain, and poor posture over
time, can all cause inappropriate fascial strain. This strain can then put an
enormous amount of pressure on the pain sensitive structures that the
fascia surrounds (ie. muscles, nerves, joints), causing many of the
