At York Health Services, you will have one hour with a qualified
health care professional who is happy to answer your questions
and take the time to work with you towards your goal(s).

Before your first appointment you will be asked to fill out a
confidential health history form, which your therapist will go
over with you at the beginning of your visit.

Your therapist will ask you a few questions regarding the reason
you are seeking treatment as well as any past injuries, surgeries,
medications, or conditions which may have an impact on your
current health.

Your therapist will perform an assessment which may include an
evaluation of your posture, range of motion testing, relevant
orthopedic, neurological, and osteopathic tests.

Your therapist will discuss any findings from the testing and
suggest a treatment plan.

Your cooperation in the assessment during your initial visit allows the
therapist to make effective, efficient and safe choices for your
treatment.

**We ask that male clients wear a pair of shorts with an elastic waist
and females wear a pair of shorts with an elastic waist and a tank top or
loose t-shirt.
